Integrated Maternal Neonatal and Child Health Project

This project is dedicated to improving the health status of women, newborns, and the most marginalized populations across the Nuwakot, Humla, and Sunsari districts by building more resilient and inclusive health systems. To achieve this, the project focuses on enhancing the service delivery capacity of local health facilities and driving community utilization through robust, collaborative partnerships with municipal governments. By strengthening local authorities’ ability to conduct inclusive planning and deliver equitable basic health services, the project ensures that government-provided care is both accessible and responsive to the specific needs of vulnerable groups. Simultaneously, targeted outreach efforts are designed to raise awareness and increase the uptake of these services among marginalized communities, bridging the gap between available resources and those who need them most. Finally, the project is committed to systematically generating evidence on its feasibility, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness, creating a validated data package to inform the sustainable replication and future expansion of these vital health interventions nationwide.
