Impacts of Air Pollution and Heat Exposure on Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) Outcomes in Nepal: a scoping review

This scoping review, adhering to PRISMA-ScR guidelines, synthesized 27 studies on the impact of air pollution and heat exposure on reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health (RMNCAH) in Nepal. Evidence indicates that biomass fuel use and particulate matter are linked to increased acute respiratory infections in children, while higher temperatures correlate with diarrheal diseases and adverse birth outcomes, with a notable research gap regarding adolescent health.
